Winning 1-0 on a Forsberg goal assisted by Josi kind of sums it up. Great team defensive structure, top goaltending, their blueline moves up smartly, and they have a line that can get a goal when necessary. I don’t know about the Cup but they could beat Colorado or Winnipeg.

I don’t think the Wings are contenders or anything but I really don’t understand how the Caps are still in the mix

The thing I find interesting about the Caps is they have Miroshnichenko (1st round 2022), Lapierre (1st round 2020) and McMichael (1st round 2019) all playing a regular shift. No one is talking full rebuild or retool, but they've a good job drafting late in the first round and working those guys into the lineup. Much better than say Pittsburgh, etc.
