He’s on Whale Emoji and it was painful that he scored two of the goals against the Wings

Protas looks really good. Apparently the Caps also have his brother's rights and he's also good but "less raw"

They also have Ryan Leonard. I hate the Caps.

If the Leaves asked Marner to waive his no move, I can't imagine them getting a hometown discount this summer from him (not that they ever would've, but still)

i just googled ”why did yzerman hate walman" because this trade got me newly re-annoyed about the wings paying a 2nd to give him away and one of the theories i read was that yzerman is just extremely anti-griddy (and anti-fun in general)

i can kind of buy that because still nothing else makes that deal make sense
