So, SNES needed scoring and they didn't really get much of it.

Some "maybe" scoring if Cozens gets back to previous form but the odds of that happening this season are, I'm guessing here, zero. Both he and Zetterlund are 5v5 depth scoring guys (both right shots who play on the left side). Both of those additions are fine but

1) Not putting them over any kind of hump
2) Is a huge gamble doing it mid-playoff push trading away a beloved (if one-dimensional) teammate.

I suppose it's possible both moves work out, even immediately. I'll hope for that I guess.

It's pretty great return for Necas if you look at it in a vacuum. But it is certainly not a good trade in helping the Canes win this year.

the Leaf sniffers said it would have taken Knies and a 1st + to get Hagel and Fleury. I love Knies but I would go back and do that deal every day
