Who knows? He hasn't won a game since December.

My feeling is the SNES will be PROBABLY in it right to the end - they're in a skid right now but Tkachuk, Norris, and Pinto are all imminent to come back either tonight or next game or so.

Ullmark was super rusty coming back from previous injury then was unbelievable for 10 games in a row. Looks similar.

I don't believe any of the teams they're fighting with are going to run the table and will each have their own mini-skids and it seems impossible for teams to drop out of the rase (case in point, Montreal won 1 of 9 games before winning two in a row and being right back in the race)

They need to bring in some help tho probably. Second line + PP scoring is a glaring need.

BUT man, fuck, the roster/cap right now is brutal. They need to get rid of Hamonic's $1m and maybe even consider moving Forsberg. Only question mark there is Ullmark's continued health but I don't think they're resigning Forsberg so he's UFA end of year, might as well just bring up Merilainen.

Just saw that Norris/Pinto/TKachuk all out tonight. Another 11F/7D game, which is kind of a sham for a team trying to desperately get points.

Did Brady get hurt in Four Nations or after

In, vs Finland. So he played the final hurt. It's... not great? But the line they are going with now is that he's getting rid of a small thing so he can be 100% for the end. It makes sense if also simultaneously very frustrating.

Hard to see them winning games without Brady (and those other guys but mostly Brady) if the goaltending is shit

Case in point, halfway through the first period against the JERTS

Though they’ve outplayed the JERTS significantly, 2 goals allowed on 4 shots isn’t ideal, Linus

No doubt, they need great goaltending which they haven't gotten from Ullmark since he came back from injury.

Absolutely loathe that Kleven through a clean hit, not even an injury or anything - Lowry jumps in to fight him and there's no instigator? Why is this only called 50% of the time?

Kleven left the game with an injury from the fight, too.

Considering Brady played the final of 4 nations with this injury and was one of the best players I'm not overly concerned he'll be out for much longer.

Brady was great in that tournament, although I'm a little surprised that he played in the Sweden game if he was already nursing an injury. I know Matthew Tkachuk was out for it and Auston Matthews sat it out with... malaise?, so somebody had to play.

Oh maybe he was injured against Sweden? It was the game before the finals.

EP40 with two points in his last ten games. Absolute ghost in the Four Nations tourney. Should the Canucks have kept JT Miller instead?

Adam Fox on IR for the Rags

He was bad at Four Nations but I don’t see this helping their cause.

I don't understand that, in part because the Blooze don't like to retain money. I get that he'd be a fit lineup-wise and knows Berube well, but the rest of it doesn't make sense.
