It’s both right and more than I expected

Now give Jamie Benn a retroactive dozen for destroying Larkin’s neck

From the Panth’s visit to the Trump White House
[Matthew] Tkachuk, the only U.S.-born player on the team this season who was part of the Cup run, thanked Trump for hosting the Panthers, adding that "being one of the few Americans who loves this country so much, this is such an incredible day for myself. You wake up every day really grateful to be an American, so thank you."

Perron finally gets a goal this year after, not gonna lie, the most shocking non-call where it sure looked like Sanderson tripped some dude (Nashville as so many nobodies) on the breakaway.

Ok, I mean... I sorta? get it now it looks like he falls a full half second after the stick goes in but that still gets called almost every single time.

I’m shocked it wasn’t both a trip and embellishment

They just showed it super slow mo angle almost right from the other faceoff circle and the dude (Willowby?!) 95% tripped himself, toe caught the ice. It still is a lucky non-call.

Amazon Prime games are so good.

Gotta say more than I expected but absolutely justifiable.

Idk he had that one great year and GMBG gave him that contract and now he’s just an another asshole on this team making 4+ to just suck. Really tired of Guerin and want him gone but probably stuck with him until Kirill leaves for free.

Ok, here's that video. I guess if you were to watch it like this you could go 50/50 - There's definitely no stick contact with anything bad but does Sanderson's arm maybe affect the stride and cause him to toe pick? But for real, at full speed I have no idea how this wasn't called a penalty.

There’s an article on the Athletic proposing deadline deals, one of which is Jake Evans to NJ for a 2nd / 3rd, and some Hab fan is insistent that they don’t need more picks but should be getting “a-level prospects” for Evans, Savard, etc. Is NJ going to trade Nemec for Jake Evans? Fuck no.

I loathe them and, yes of course you're right that top prospects for those utterly depth guys isn't happening, but Hughes seems to do really well on trades? I hate it.

I would count getting a 2nd round pick for Jake Evans as a great return.

A second and a third for Evans is absolutely realistic and you’re right that Hughes tends to do better than expected in trades. But it’s not like he’s Brock Nelson!

It’s hard to see much of impact happening at this deadline with Rantanen and Miller already having moved.

Yeah it's gonna suck AND the prices seem like they will be steep AF. Tho with the cap news, maybe there's more opportunity to move non-rentals and that helps make it a bit more interesting?

Good: SNES weather early storm and scored on the PP to be up 1-0 after one.

Bad: Shane Pinto left with an arm injury of some unknown severity.
