Wings didn’t look like they had an extra guy out there

Rags have absolutely killed them on faceoffs

Effort was better than the score indicated

Still can’t believe they called a penalty on Lyon for bumping the post

Panarin scores on a backdoor feed after Maatta can’t clear and Chiarot loses his guy

DeBrincat 100% should’ve scored on the PP

Welp, 2-0 on a Panarin ripper

Looked like Chiarot slid out of the way

Wings cannot put the puck in the net

Seider just needs to shoot that

Berggren got tripped going for a loose puck that would’ve led to a clear, then the arm goes up five seconds later for a call against Berggren for holding (which, to be fair, he was doing)

Mancini scores, somehow? Seemed like Talbot was getting bumped

Lyon going in

Can’t blame Talbot on the PP goals but that last one was bad

The Wings were going to have a PP but Fischer managed to high-stick someone during the delayed call

That kind of night

Johansson isn't a game-changer but Gustafsson has been a mess in his two games this year and AJ has been a stable presence. Holl has been better than Petry was.

Berggren is smart and fearless about going into the corners / front of the net, but he gets knocked down too easily. Seems like he's playing with Copp and Tarasenko while Compher gets Raymond and Rasmussen. Fischer and Motte feel like different store brands of the same player -- wish that Kasper and/or Mazur got a look instead of them.

Kane has been fairly invisible at even strength. DeBrincat, as previously noted, has been abysmal. Bad penalty, missed an open net, constantly flubbing the puck. Larkin and Raymond look way more engaged that anyone else up front.
