I like the Miller trade even less now!

I do think the Rangers improved a lot in turning Chytil to Miller. At this point I feel like Chytil is a known quantity — he’s 25, injury prone, and has a career high of 45 points.

The Rangers got the best player left on the market, Marcus Pettersson went out west instead of bolstering another Eastern Conference team, and it’s hard to see the Wings or SNES making a comparable improvement.

Yeah Ottawa's not gonna be able to do much failing someone going onto LTIR for the rest of the year for a vegas special (or trading a roster player)

The Wings could make a move, but I’m not sure if they’re going to get a top 4 D or a top 6 F at the deadline.

I’m worried about how dumb the spending is going to be this offseason. I’d be happy with Yzerman splashing some cash on Boeser but it feels more likely that some defenseman they don’t need will be grossly overpaid.
