Might be hard to get a lowball through given that every team in the NHL knows he's available. Who do you think the Wings should give up for him?

I have seen Very Credible internet "reports" that the SNES might be trying to trade Josh Norris + for this guy. Would be an upgrade, obviously, tho doesn't really help their lack of a trigger guy.

I don’t think Yzerman will actually do it. It would have to be a mostly futures package, like Danielson + 1st + Cap Filler (Compher?). It seems like the Canucks want to compete, so that package would get beaten by Norris+ and other packages.

I'm not sure Ottawa is even actually trying to do it. I'm also not even sure it would be a good move.

My concern for the SNES if they made the move is that it would almost certainly need to include this year’s first, and their prospect pool is thin enough already.
