The stoppage was 3:30 long to figure out who should be on the ice.

Not real psyched that the PNES (who aren't good, mind you) got absolutely rolled by the Stars in their last game, which is the same scenario as the Wings' first game against them.

It feels like this season has had a lot of lopsided games and then the team comes back with a far better effort in the next one.

Let’s be honest, I know it’s pretty obvious, but not drafting Quinn Hughes when he was in your backyard was franchise altering.

It's too bad I wasn't the SNES GM at the time, I was so bummed they didn't pick Zadina. This fact, truly, is what ended up altering the trajectory of the Red Wings franchise.

I was thrilled they got Zadina! It seemed like a great move!

At the time there was talk that Holland had no interest in Hughes and if he’d gone D it would’ve been Bouchard or Dobson, both of whom are obviously better than Zadina. But it’s hard to look at that draft board and think they reached for Zadina.

I would have picked Quinn Hughes for sure
