First iffy call on Canada imo. It was the linesman that held him up

Ithe worst rule in any sport is the slashing penalty for breaking an opponent's stick or knocking it from their hands

I don't think Cowan has been good or anything but it's ridiculous to set him up with so much of the puck possession in the openest ice on the PP. They're stationing him where kucherov plays and and deferring to him like he's kucherov and he is swivelling around like a table hockey player looking for turnaround writers from 40 feet out

Cowan brings some real Maple Leafs energy to team Canada.

He only ever played well for the leafs when he was forced into top 4 mins due to injuries and this injury occurred during one of these stretches and imo he was never the same again but maybe that was more due to the fact that Keefe refused to use him outside the third pairing
