He had absolutely zero chance on the first goal. Amazing that Verhaeghe was able to redirect it through a relatively small opening in Skinner's five hole.

I really thought the Edmonton PP would get another shot on in the third, but they overlooked some stuff and Florida avoided the "must call" penalties like high stickings.

anyway I watched at the maple leaf pub in central london with some ball hockey buds and some other edmontonians, there was a camera man working for global news there but he didn't decide to interview me for his footage, even after I had told him what I thought about various things. as I waited a whole day for the game to even start I kept thinking of the line from the cure, I've waited hours for this, made my self so sick. I couldn't believe how excited I was for it, how much fucking fun I had watching and how much I ended up wanting the oil to win. pretty sure it's the first full hockey game my middle sister has ever watched, and she is saying she is still depressed about it.

anyway, game ended at 4 but I had to wait 25 mins for a bus. mcfleetwood supplied good company on the 47-stop bus ride home. I asked him to dial up our captain for us to speak to but he seemed to know better. I really was looking forward to calling internet friends to share a couple wooooooooooooooos and fuck rights. alas.

my friend lent me this sick jersey though I was sheepish about the compliments I got for it because he had the deepest cut in the house (Ranford). I was thinking if the oil won I might be able to keep it like get him to sign over the rights while he celebrated.
