How hard are you leaning into saying “Barthelona” right now?

Actually I'm all in on calling it "Barna" instead of "Barca"

Yo 2PEENZ I got an eagle on the first hole at Ballybunion last Friday. Rest of the round was up and down, got caught in the rough a few times and got an 88 with two triples.

I am just finding out about Felina now, where were you last week!

I haven't swung a club since January in Phoenix :( Tomorrow tee times open for the local munis this weekend so I'm going to try to get out. Slow start to the year.

Congrats on the eagle! Ireland/Scotland golf trip is bucket list for me.

A buddy who is a much better golfer than me played St. Andrews a couple years ago when it was still "show up at 6am, put your name on the list, go to the pub, and we'll call you if you get on." He shot an 82 or something awesome.

I think we can all agree that shank should have spent the golf money on attending the NHL draft in vegas

I do not disagree. Oddly enough, I will be in Vegas about a week before the draft.

Ehh nothing much. The wife wanted to see Dead & Co at the Sphere and I kinda wanted to see the Sphere so we went then spent the weekend in Scottsdale with the in-laws. It was brutally hot and I missed Game 4. I'm really over traveling now. Was in Ireland for like 10 days then went to lovely Saginaw, MI for a weekend then Vegas and AZ. I kind of don't want to fly again for a long time.

I debated going up to Saginaw for a Memorial Cup game, it’s like 80 minutes north

Town was rocking for the Cup! By that I mean I think I saw some Canadian license plates.

It was pretty cool. The Sphere is insane, and they played for like 3 1/2 hours. Was interesting to try to guess what drugs the people dancing around on the floor were on based on how fast they were twirling around. The sound is really good in that place too.

I’m picturing a band I care about in the Sphere, like Protomartyr

My buddy keeps asking me to go to the Sphere with him. I like the Dead but find John Mayer incredibly cringey, so it's a bit of non-starter. I'm sure the venue would make it very fun though.

It honestly seems like a place tailor-made for U2

I like the Dead and only feel slightly negatively about Mayer but he made some serious orgasm faces whilst playing that made me just wanna look at dancing skeletons again.

Hope you weren't in the front row, or if you were, you wore a rain poncho like it was a Gallagher set

Barnaby had a high old time on Lake Michigan but it seems like he used all of his remaining energy. He’s 15 and has been having issues with his hips for a year or two, can’t get up on the couch anymore and can’t do many stairs. This morning he couldn’t stand up and was whimpering about it, hasn’t been able to stand up without help and doesn’t want to walk once I do help him.

The vet is closed today but I’ll call tomorrow and see if I can bring him in.
